Father's Day was delicious. It was low key, but still fancier than usual. We all sat around for lunch and shared stories, jokes, and all that typical family stuff. Eventually the upstairs family came to join us and we did what people here always do on days like this. Open wine bottles, lots of them. It definitely brought out the silliness in everyone. Especially my uncles.
Nicole cooked most of the meal, which seems to always happen when we're celebrating something. She fried some sopaipillas; it was the first time a had them home made. It made them about a hundred times better.
